This housing complex is a little different when you’re thinking about retirement living. Each unit has their own entrance. They all have large windows bringing in a lot of natural light, with a patio door that opens to your own outdoor area. So you’re able to grow a tomato or some lettuce in a pot or two. You can fire up the barbecue and enjoy a glass of lemonade or just park in the chair for a bit of a nap, listening to the sounds of the kids going down the street on their bicycles, or listening to the birds. The complex is located on the edge of town, giving you a view of open prairie and wildlife. A three block walk will get you to restaurants, the grocery store, post office, outdoor swimming pool, golf course, library or churches. A one block walk will get you to the health centre. 

Each unit is equipped with a washer/dryer combo, and grab bars in the bathrooms. The Co-op Housing pays for water, sewer and garbage/recycling fees. All grounds maintenance is done by the Housing Co-op which even includes wheeling your recycle bin to the curb.

 Le logement de la coopérative est un service de location de 20 suites. Quatre d’entre elles ont deux chambres ; huit n’en ont une pièce et demi; et huit suites ont seulement une chambre. Toutes les suites ainsi qu’une laveuse-sécheuse. Les frais  d’eau et d’égout sont inclut dans le loyer. Le locataire est responsable pour le chauffage, l’électricité, la télévision par câble et le téléphone. Le loyer est basé sur la taille de la suite.
